TOOLS
SKILLS
Be Cool is a clothing boutique that aims to make fashion accessible and wearable. Their main avenues are an online store, in-person warehouse, and trade show appearances.
My role was to help the brand establish a visual language and brand identity that resonates with customers and represents the brand’s core attributes: simple, comfortable, and refined.
Background
The Challenge
Developing a cohesive brand identity and accompanying visual assets.
To define the look and feel of the brand, I began by analyzing brand photography and creating color palettes inspired by the imagery. I then pinpointed key attributes that the business wants to express through its branding and selected primary and secondary font options.
Ideation

Identifying potential color palettes.

Potential business value propositions.

Typography exploration.
After presenting my brainstorm to my client and moving forward with selected options, I developed the following set of brand guidelines.

Here are some of the designs I’ve created, including website hero banners, email assets, and trade show posters.
